Our Montessori curriculum and programs provide a respectful answer to each child development process, and achieve the National Education objectives by respecting the common core – and usually goes beyond expectations.
OUR CURRICULUM AND PROGRAMS: EDUCATE THE HUMAN POTENTIAL
The curriculum: a human oriented project
We Love Mômes is above all a project of a human nature which takes up the values relayed by Dr. Maria Montessori as “life support”: autonomy, empathy, self-esteem, excellence.
To this, We Love Mômes adds creativity, exchange, research spirit, and interpersonal skills.
We Love Mômes’s curriculum aims at providing solid and concrete foundations for children. We also rely on his desire to learn and take him along every day in his quest for independence. Thus, our curriculum related to Montessori education revolves around four axes, as described below.
A clean, organized, and accessible environment
In a Montessori school, the concept of “prepared environment” is an integral part of the program. Indeed, it is based on material, physical and temporal, human but also social aspects, thought to encourage the child’s independent activity.
Allowing choice and time to learn
It is important for us to give the opportunity to the child to continue an activity for as long as he/she wishes. It helps satisfy his/her deep interests and gives him/her the time necessary to build intelligence, at his own pace.
The activities and the material
The activities are divided into four areas: practical life, sensorial, language, and mathematics. The material is developed in order to enable self-correction: the child can thus evaluate if he/she has successfully completed an activity, all by him/herself.
The guide as a link between the environment and the child
All Montessori-trained guides and adults who interact with the child intervene with accuracy and discretion. They thus develop the child’s confidence in his abilities, in an atmosphere of joy, freedom and mutual respect.

CURRICULUM AND PROGRAMS BEYONG EXPECTATIONS
The same programs as governments regulations
All private school in the French system – among which the Montessori schools – is obliged to comply with the government program. The new Gatel Act (Act No. 2018-266 of 13 April 2018) establishes an annual control on safety, accessibility, health and morals of each institution.
Record-tracking and lesson planning
After attending a Montessori school, any child easily adapts to his/her new environment when entering any other school.
We follow all the children individually thanks to an online platform to which each parent has access: Transparent Classroom.
To go further on this subject, we recommend to read the last book from Dr. Angeline Stoll Lillard, Director of the Early Development Laboratory at the University of Virginia, USA, who published a study in 2018 on Montessori schools and achievements (Montessori: Science behind the Genius).
