Our commitments
We are committed to respect an international, eco-friendly and Montessori environment for children attending our school in Versailles. Our pedagogical project is particularly focused on keeping children at the heart of our commitments.
WE LOVE MÔMES SPIRIT: FUNDAMENTAL COMMITMENTS
OUR VISION
To offer a program that is international, innovative and respectful of people and the environment.
OUR MISSION
Support each child’s moral, behavioral, emotional and intellectual development.
OUR VALUES
Maintain the values espoused by Dr Maria Montessori: autonomy, empathy, self-esteem and excellence.
COMMITMENTS IN OUR MONTESSORI SCHOOL
BUILD CONFIDENCE
Approved and verified by science, Montessori pedagogy has proved its worth and inspired many education programs, such as those in Singapore.
We integrate Montessori pedagogy into the child’s daily life. Little by little, we enable him to reveal his skills by teaching him to learn, to experiment on his own, and thus to gain self-confidence.
OPEN UP INTERNATIONALLY
The richness of the world’s cultures and the importance of communication between human beings are daily themes at every We Love Mômes international school.
At a time when the English language is all around us – in computing, sport, travel… – we offer the permanent presence of two adults, one French-speaking and the other English-speaking.
BEING ECO-RESPONSIBLE
Three areas define the scope of eco-responsibility: social, environmental and economic. This is what we put into practice in every Montessori school with children, families and staff. In fact, it’s through the daily adoption of positive-impact gestures that we build the world of tomorrow.
OUR PEDAGOGICAL PROJECT
We are deeply passionate and fascinated by children and their development, just as Dr. Maria Montessori was. Our pedagogical project naturally and scrupulously follows in its wake.
In this pedagogical project, we present the history of Montessori pedagogy, the values we uphold today, the renovated building, the school program, the organization of the atmosphere, English-French bilingualism, meal times, the permaculture garden, extra-curricular activities, ongoing training for our teams, the caring environment, and the director, Irina LAUVERGNAT.
“The child is both a hope and a promise for humanity. By caring for this treasure as our most precious possession, we will work to make humanity grow.” Prof. Dr. Maria Montessori, Education and Peace
